In 2017, I got here to Coursera for a similar cause that has attracted over 100 million learners, 275 college and business companions, and seven,000 establishments to our platform up to now: a basic perception within the energy of schooling. We’ve made substantial progress by embedding this perception inside our mission and our dedication as a Licensed B Company to remodel lives by means of studying.
Because the world continues to alter, a brand new period of studying and work is rising. And we’ve continued to increase the services we provide and the areas through which we function to assist increasingly learners advance their schooling, careers, and in the end, thrive on this new digital economic system. To satisfy the calls for of this evolving panorama, I’m excited to announce a couple of modifications to our organizational construction that can simplify how we function to serve clients and develop the enterprise.
Efficient Oct. 1, 2022, Shravan Goli, previously Coursera’s Chief Product Officer and Head of Shopper Income since 2018, has assumed the function of Chief Working Officer. Combining product administration, engineering, design, information, providers, and enterprise operations below one staff, Shravan might be answerable for delighting clients with an end-to-end learner, buyer, and associate expertise and doing so with operational excellence and leverage.
Moreover, Leah Belsky, previously Coursera’s Chief Enterprise Officer and a Courserian since 2015, has assumed the function of Chief Income Officer. With formal organizational accountability for total income, Leah might be answerable for managing our three segments – Shopper, Enterprise, and Levels – enabling Coursera to extra successfully establish and pursue alternatives for world income development throughout segments and areas.
As we proceed to develop and increase the scale and scope of our enterprise, this construction will assist simplify and make clear the tasks for creating services that meet the wants of our clients and managing income development. Shravan and Leah have been driving forces of Coursera’s development for a number of years, and we’re excited for them to step into these essential management roles.
